PokeHuman Stats

OccupationWaitress by day. Takes on ninja jobs at night.
Town of ResidenceLaverre City
Appearance:

Head: Kuroba has light green hair kept in a low pony tail reminiscent of her tail as a Larvitar. She has large yellow eyes and two black markings on her cheeks under them. These markings are just like that of her Pokemon form. She passes this off as tattoos to those curious humans who ask. She rarely wears makeup, except during her waitress job.
Body: She is rather short, at 4'9", with a petite build. She has an east Asian complexion. She likes to dress in traditional Laverre City fashion. She is never without her long ass scarf, and it is usually found somewhere on her person. Sometimes worn like a normal scarf, sometimes as a shawl, sometimes a belt...it depends on what fits her clothes. On a side note, she has a really high pitched voice.</blockquote>

Faction: Gang Frou

Personals

Personality:

Kuroba is a really annoying person in general. She goes out of her way to annoy others (making rude jokes, sarcastic remarks, invading personal spaces, completely disregarding common etiquette, etc). Her favorite targets are the quiet and serious types. She finds immense joy at the expense of others.

She likes being the boss and getting her way. She hates following orders. She prefers to work alone and will easily do underhanded tricks to get her way. Ninjas don't really have a long list of morals to abide by. She hates losing with a really strong passion...and she's a very passionate person.

When she's alone, she's quite the hopeless romantic. She likes to read gushy romance novels and watch overly sweet chick flicks. Sometimes people see her giggling in the corner weirdly when she thinks no one is watching. She's a very emotional person. She values her emotions very much, and she almost always follows her emotions. She refuses to let go of her emotions and she isn't afraid to show it. This is her weakness as a ninja.

History:

Kuroba grew up in a community hidden in Mt. Silver. It is a well guarded place that those passing by the mountain never notice. It is a community of ninja Pokemon. There used to be humans who lived in the villages years and years ago. They founded the village, but they have long since moved to Kanto. The Pokemon left behind have been living and upholding the traditions left behind by the ancient humans. They lived in relative peace and order, offering their special ninja training that has been passed down, to help wild Pokemon in need. (Lvl 1-20)

But Kuroba never liked it there. Being ninjas meant keeping a tight hold of their emotions. There was no such thing as love in relationships, only conveniences. She lived like this for most of her life until she fell in love with a civilian living in the community's territory. Being forbidden to do anything romantic and passionate, she left her village, unable to keep hold of her emotions any longer. She was 17. (Lvl 21-30)

She lived travelling around without a goal, occasionally helping any wild Pokemon she met. She was soon captured by a young trainer. Kuroba was even more bitter with this new development. She didn't want to be enslaved by these humans she heard from the stories passed down by the elders. She didn't have a high opinion of humans. She did her best to anger and exasperate her trainer. She didn't follow orders and just downright ignored the little human. (Lvl 31)

But the little trainer was patient. He painstakingly took everything in stride, showing Kuroba emotions and kindness. She was starting to warm up to the little boy and his team. She was highly awkward at first, not knowing how to show emotions, but she took to it like a duck to water. (Lvl 32-33)

She lived a relatively happy life for most of that year, travelling all over Johto. But her joyful days came to an end when the young trainer fell ill. The young trainer's family moved to Kalos, a place with better medical technology, when Johto couldn't provide the treatment the little boy needed. Sadly, he didn't survive. All his Pokemon were then released back into the wild. (Lvl 34)

She wandered around aimlessly again, reflecting upon the cruel fairness of everything. Pokemon had the strength but they didn't have the ordered society that humans had. Humans, on the other hand, had the society but were too frail to keep it up. She eventually came upon a Dittech, marveling at her luck. It combined the best of both world. Wonderful! She soon joined Gang Frou, admiring the leader's view of the world. (Lvl 35-37)

Roughly another year has passed. She's 19 now, and living in Laverre City as a waitress in a cafe. She sometimes takes on ninja jobs (of assassination, theft, sabotage, etc.) at night. (Lvl 38)

I would just like to explain the levels bit. Kuroba seems a bit OP when it comes to the level in the beginning (with her being level 30 before meeting her trainer), but considering she comes from a somewhat organized system of training, it's somewhat expected. Although they are technically wild Pokemon, the children of that place have been taught things that were left behind by the ancient humans. I would like to think that most Pokemon learn by instinct, and that they don't really know how to fully use their moves' potential (that's were Pokemon Trainers come in), which would mean that the quality of the Pokemon coming from this community is much better.
Her level progress gets relatively lower after she meets her trainer because he was just an inexperienced Youngster who lucked out on catching a relatively high-leveled Pokemon with a Pokeball he dropped. This also explains her unwillingness to follow him, with him being so inexperienced and badge-less. I know that rule only applies to traded Pokemon, but I think it's also pretty realistic for it to be applied to newly caught Pokemon too. Would a prideful Kuroba follow a snot nosed brat? I don't think so.</blockquote>

Extras:
:bulletgreen: Although she's pretty annoying, she takes her jobs seriously. She's a pretty okay waitress (aka she can be polite when she wants to), and she's a very serious ninja when it comes to it.
:bulletgreen: Growing up in Johto, she's more familiar with Japanese. She's pretty fluent in English, but her accent shows though. She can understand French pretty well, but she always fumbles when speaking using it. (I am assuming that the Pokeworld locations have the same language as it's real world counterpart)

Role-Play Example:

Kuroba sighed. It was her day off from work and she was BORED. She rolled in her bed for the thousandth time that past hour.

'I could go on training...I mean, it's still pretty disorienting to keep changing perspectives whenever I change forms...' she thought. Whenever she got a ninja job, she usually kept switching between her human form and her Larvitar self. Her human form was already small as it was, but there were just times that she had to be even SMALLER. And she was smaller than the average Larvitar too...

'But...nah! I don't feel like it!'

And she was back to square one. Without anything to do, she sighed even deeper. She sat up on her bed and pulled at her hair that was free of its band. Boredom was such a formidable foe!

"I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU!!" she screamed into the empty apartment. But her outburst didn't change anything. She was still extremely bored.

"What to do...what to do..." she stood up and started pacing around her room. 'Read? No. Watch TV? No. Clean? Heck NO. I could-'

Her thought process was cut off when she heard a very familiar sound. DIIIING DINGIDING! It was the sound of her mail coming. And not just any mail too. It was from special customers.

"Hmm...seems like I've got something to do after all." she smirked. "Another job. Hoorah." she smirked.

X.x.X.x.X

Kuroba adjusted her scarf, making sure it wouldn't fall off. She was dressed in her work clothes, composed of soft black cloth that covered every inch of her body. Her tools were safely hidden in her many pockets. 'Arceus, humans are so lucky to have hands. These tools are bloody useful.'

Her job tonight was pretty straightforward. Get in, mess up some stuff, leave the owner weeping, and go back to the old lady who requested this cruelty. Who knew that Hilda-obaasan was so mean? It was only as a human that she received these kind of jobs. Oh, she knew that ninjas regularly did this, the stories passed down through her clan told her so, but wild Pokemon never really required these kinds of services. The ninja Pokemon of Mt. Silver were less like ninjas and more like police or rangers. These jobs thrilled her.

Smirking under her mask, she leaped off her perch on the branch. It was pretty easy to get into the establishment. She didn't even need to exert all that much effort. 'This owner's pretty lax...stupid.

Once inside, she scoped the room. Prior to entering, she already memorized the layout, and she knew that no one would be in the shop at this time, but it never hurt to be cautious. Nodding her head, seeing that the coast was clear, she got to work. Breaking things without making a sound was a bit tricky, but what's a job without a challenge?

She raised her hand to take a wooden figurine, her first victim, when she heard something.

'Shit!!' Turning her head, she saw lights peeking through the space between the floor and the door. 'No one's supposed to be here right now!'

Without anytime to think, she quickly changed to her Larvitar form, hoping to pass of as some random wild Pokemon that got in. The door opened, and she unconsciously held in her breath.
